Whether you're a member, friend, or a passing visitor, we welcome you to our website! We hope it will help introduce you to our church, although the best way to get to know us is to worship with us!
Our church is committed to the belief that Jesus is worthy to receive the reward of his suffering. Centuries before Jesus was born the Prophet Isaiah said about him: "Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied" (Isaiah 53:11). Jesus' death on the cross wasn't a blind hope. Sometimes when you and I do things we hope for a certain outcome when, in fact, we are certain the way things will turn out. For instance, when you plant a garden you carefully plan the rows, till the soil, plant the seeds, water and fertilize, and hope for the best. That's not the way Jesus died. As Isaiah foretold, he died with the certainty that by his suffering he would save people from their sin (Matthew 1:21). That's the message of the gospel and we believe it's "the power of God for salvation" (Romans 1:16).
This gospel is at the heart of everything we do. Whether you sit in our Sunday school classes, visit our mid-week prayer meeting, or join us for worship on Sunday morning and evening, you can expect to hear about what God has done, is doing, and will do in Jesus Christ. We want to see people come to a saving knowledge of him and we want people to grow in his grace. It's for this reason we do what we do, and we are confident that Jesus will receive that reward. Not a reward of gold and silver, but of saved men, women, and children.
We invite you to come and join us as we worship Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!
For Christ's Glory,
Pastor Kyle Borg
